• HDR10

 

HDR10 is the most popular technology at the
moment, and is available in all types of HDR-supporting TVs without exception,
supporting HDR10 at 4000 nits (screen intensity measurement unit), as well as
one billion colors.

 

• Dolby Vision

 

The second type of HDR, a privately owned
patented (patented) capable of delivering better and stronger results than
HDR10, and it is worth noting that all Dolby vision-enabled TVs can also
support HDR10, but HDR10 does not support Dolby vision.

At the brightness level, Dolby Vision can
support up to 10,000 nits (the screen's lighting intensity unit) and 68 billion
colors.

Dolby vision can deliver better performance
and image than HDR10, and Dolby Vision has a feature not available in its predecessor,
Dynamic metadata control, which allows filmmakers to determine the brightness
and colors of each shot.
